Co-design · engineering partnership

Designed around your appliance, with your engineers.

The right element for a new appliance is rarely in a catalogue. We develop it with the OEM that builds it in – with engineers who know what a surface load means for scale, cycle life and an approval test.

The sequence of stages is fixed; the depth of each stage scales with the project. A derivative of an existing VDE-approved family moves fast, a new sheath material or sealing concept gets the full programme.

  • One responsible engineer as your technical contact through all six stages.
  • Samples on series processes wherever possible – what you test is what you will receive.
  • Documented gates: requirement sheet, approved drawing, test report, PPAP-style release.

Six stages

From first requirement to after-sales – six stages, one team.

Each stage ends with a documented result, so the next one starts from agreed facts rather than assumptions.

  1. Concept

Medium, duty cycle, installation space, standard and markets become a requirement sheet and a first design.

  2. Prototype

Functional samples typically 2–4 weeks after drawing approval; faster for derivatives of existing designs.

  3. Validation

Electrical safety, life and humidity tests in our validation laboratory, then tests in your appliance.

  4. Approval

Certification support: VDE-approved families as the basis, further marks obtained per project with you.

  5. Series

PPAP-style sample approval, control plan, 100 % electrical test and lot traceability.

  6. After sales

Field support, 8D failure analysis and engineering changes agreed in writing.

Inputs and outputs

What you provide, what we deliver.

Clear inputs at every stage keep a project moving – nobody waits for information the other side did not know was needed.

Why it is fast

Fast, because the critical steps are in our plant.

Engineering, sheath tube, forming tools and laboratory are under one roof, so most prototypes are built without waiting for outside suppliers.

Engineering

Designed in-house

Our engineering team draws and calculates the element: 2D drawings, 3D models, surface load, wire and cold zones.

Tube

Sheath tube from our own mill

Stainless tube is roll-formed, TIG-welded and sized in our plant, so samples use the same tube as the series.

Tools

Tools and fixtures on site

A large base of running parts means most new forms can be bent on tools and fixtures we already have.

Laboratory

Tested before shipment

Samples pass our validation laboratory before they are sent to you – with a report for every agreed test.

Timing: functional samples typically take 2–4 weeks from drawing approval when existing tooling and standard fittings can be used. New bending tools, special flanges or a new sealing configuration take longer – the quotation states the date.

One team

Four disciplines at one table.

Application engineering, our engineering team, the validation laboratory and production planning work on your project together – so the design you approve can be built and tested in series.

  • Application engineering owns the requirement sheet and the open-points list until release.
  • Engineering team: thermal and electrical design, drawings, 3D models and the construction file for approvals.
  • Validation laboratory: sample tests and reports, support for type tests and customer audits.
  • Production planning: tooling, control plan, capacity and ramp-up.

After release the same team stays responsible. Every change to a released drawing, material or process – including changes we initiate – is assessed for its effect on approvals and agreed with you in writing first.
