Control + safety. One thermostat.
Tormec now makes a double safety stem thermostat for electric water heaters: an adjustable control thermostat and a bipolar 90 °C safety cut-out in one housing. If the control contact sticks closed, the safety opens live and neutral together and the heater stays off until it is reset by hand.
